This looks like the Lalande GT coupe, a later version of the GP Centron, built in Cornwell and VW based;

Going purely from memory as I am now lost in deepest France and not at home with my books; the Lalande was made by a Cornish company calles Statestyle: I think!

It was made by a Cornish company, but not Statestyle. I'll keep this puzzle locked for you for a while, so you can enjoy the French countryside. ;D
