The Ferrari-nose led to the answer: WP111  Warren Pitstock and Mick Rock. First raced in 1967, powered by a Holden Six (186 red motor) with triple 45mm weber carburetors all 200HP driving through a VW tunnel box transaxle. The body molds are Lotus 22 with a flared Ferrari-like nose.

I notice that this car is currently for sale in Australia, and is entitled Pitstock Holden Special. I have changed the puzzle title accordingly so that future searches will not confuse anyone.
