To earn your point, provide the name of the builder, and the car this sports coupe was based upon.

Is this a private build or made by some company?

Based on a Countach? With apologies, perhaps . . .

Made by a company listed in allcarindex.   :)

Not based on a Countach, not based on a Fiero.

datsone

Not a Bradley, is it?

sixtee5cuda

Not a Bradley.  I get the impression from my sources, that only one was built.  But the company was willing to make more.

This one-off was built by Staten Medsker's SCM Motors.
I'll look for the donor car...Corvette perhaps?

I'm sure you got it right!

sixtee5cuda

LOCKED for Paul Jaray.  This car was built by SCM Motors.  Prior to acquiring the puzzle images (and the description of the base car), I had only seen one dark image of the car, with no mention of the base model.

Not based on a Corvette.

Paul Jaray

Based on an American chassis?

sixtee5cuda

Yes, on an American chassis.

I assume it's a V8...GM?

sixtee5cuda

PJ, the base car is from GM.  (The hood started on a Ford, the front fenders on a Plymouth).  And the headlights are from a Mercedes-Benz.

One more guess from Paul Jaray, then the puzzle will be unlocked.

Paul Jaray

I'd say Cadillac, then.
