Long time between puzzles for me. Complete meltdown of my photo files that is now getting pretty well fixed.
As well, my 74th Birthday today and I completed 200 Points yesterday so I am feeling good about starting to post puzzles again with some confidence.

Who built this vehicle and in what year. It also has a specific name given to it at the time which is needed to get the point.

I have got this as Canadian-American Jumbo-Jeep 4x4, year 1943.

Very good Serra:

One of two prototypes, a 4X4 and a 6X6, neither of which was adopted by the US Army.
Edit: Sorry, I screwed up the header again, if a moderator can fix it please do.
Also, here is a photo of the 6x6 variant.
