Know what this is? I'll need the name of the donor car and who made the modfications for a point
No rookies know, what about the experts?
Base - a supercharged MGA
Body - by a Mr. Lester
Apologies I can't be more specific than that........
Very quick, I thought this might hang around for a bit longer!
Mr.Lester was known as Bob to his friends ;)
What's this, by whom - for 1 point?
Experts?
MGA Hawk by Bob Lester ?
Does look like the same car, but that would be a repost

...though it is indeed the same car - there's no mention of its name "Hawk" in your title hence it didn't show up in the Search!
Since that is new information I think SACO deserves his point so he gets to keep it although the puzzle should then be merged.
But perhaps the "Hawk" name can be included in the title so it doesn't happen again?
P.S. I'm on an unfamiliar computer with all the keys in the wrong places and have moved this puzzle to the wrong place!
I've asked an Admin to move it to the Solved Board!
Merged
How about a rear view:
What's this and who built it, for 1 point?:
Remember - solving puzzles using 'Google Search by Image' is BANNED on AutoPuzzles!
Experts?
Jaguar E type base?
Based on a Jaguar XK? It reminded me of the Oblin XK 120, but when I checked that one out it was completely different.

No, nothing to do with Jaguar at all.
Is it a 'modern vintage' in plastic (GRP)?
This is an MGA modified by Bob Lester of Chicago Illinois.

I had him as Harry Lester but we won't argue!
I'll check on that name.

Sorry for not replying to this Richard - I didn't spot it for some reason, probably because I was about to leave to go to Monaco for the Grand Prix at the time! Anyway, you know the answer now, which was of course "No".
