SAC#583 : The Lamgia of Alex MacMillan 1953

For those of you are are interested in that sort of thing, I have traced the race this car was competing in. It is a National meeting held at Silverstone on 6 June 1953 - the Lamgia came 3rd overall in a 7-lap scratch race, behind an Allard and a JAG-Ford, 21 seconds behind the winner. I thought I recognised the angle of the photo - it's taken from the spectator stand above the pits at Silverstone. I guess this was practice for the race - the car wouldn't have finished 3rd if it had spent time in the pits.
