I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

Not Nagant, but you hit the right country instantaniously.

This is a product of a different Belgian car factory...

It is indeed a F.A.B. (= Fabrique Automobile Belge) from Bruxelles.

LOCKED for you.

Any more details?

Paul Jaray

According to Kupelian's book, F.A.B. produced just 2 models, Typ C & Typ B, but it was quite active in racing to promote his cars. They were at the 1912 Coupe de Liedekerke (the pic in that book shows that car, slightly different from the puzzle's car), several other races in 1912 plus the Meeting d'Ostende in 1913 and 1914. I guess it's one of the latter, but I'm looking for it.

Paul Jaray

Ok, still looking for it.
The model used for races was a 20 CV, so it was derived from the Typ B, that was a 20/28 CV (Typ C was a 12/16CV).
Can't find the right event but I found F.A.B. racing at SPA, Liedekerke, La Fleche, Tours, Laval, Suede in Stockholm in 1912 and Namur in 1913.
Was it a 1912 event?

QuoteWas it a 1912 event?

No.

But you delivered so many facts that this is your point in any case.

I am not sure myself, if it´s a Type B or C.

This very car is shown at the Laval race in 1913 - I guess it was the bigger 3,5 liter 20/28CV, but I´m not sure myself.

Thank you very much for this close inverstigation...
