For one point: who is the driver, and where and when was the picture taken??

Only a correct, complete and specific answer will earn a point; tag-on's to other guesses will not. So, be specific and complete!

Could it be a Lorraine-Dietrich? If yes, then the driver might be Duray.

Flanders, about 1912,....so possibly Walter Flanders at the wheel.

Otto Puzzell

I believe you are correct about the car. That's not Mr. Flanders at the wheel.

Is it EMF works driver Jack Tower ?
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

Otto Puzzell

Not him.

The driver's name (first name - nickname and second name - family name) almost sounds like the name of a well-known fast car from the same period.

It is a bit more specific - not jut a brand; the sounds-like name also includes an attribute of the car.
