It's a Townend 581 from about 1960 made by G & R Townend Ltd. of Sheffield.

G & R Townend called it the 581 (see picture below)!
Although they mention their imminent new '600' model they couldn't picture it because it's believed none were ever actually made...

Although they don't look exactly the same to me they have the same name so yes, I think they should be merged.
