The more you learn, the more you realise how little you know.

grobmotorix

Not Veritas - but you hit the correct country.

grobmotorix

This is not a MG.

It is a German car, driver and racetrack.

Good idea, however not really correct.

But there is a distant connection to Wanderer... ;)

Wendax

grobmotorix

Exactly.

But this is not enough information to lock it for you...

Wendax

grobmotorix

No - it raced at the AVUS!

Wendax

Gerhard Macher 1933

Is it this one (www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=20965) with a streamline body?

grobmotorix

LOCKED for you.

Not 1933.

And the car has a name..

Wendax

In 1937 Gerhard Macher started with #11 again. It seems to have been the Zoller racecar (http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=8756) with a streamline body, nicknamed Kreissäge (circular saw).

grobmotorix

#18
Now you have it!

QuoteBut there is a distant connection to Wanderer...

Well, that DKW connection was only related to Gerhard Macher ;)

Its official name was "M-Wagen"
