This could well be the least convincing AC Cobra replica on the planet - any idea what it is?
Marvia Cobra
Absolutely right - well done! This execrable creation was built in India and based on the Suzuki SJ410 or Suzuki Carry van!
Sorry
Marvia is from Indonesia and not from India
Autospeurder
Of course, you are right: P.T. Marvia Graha Motor was based in Jakarta
And we took to them, and they took to us.
And whaddya think they took?
Oil from Canada. Gold from Mexico. Geese from their neighbor's back yard, boom boom.
Corn from the Indians. Tobacco from the Indians. New York from the Indians. New Jersey from the Indians.New Hampshire from the Indians....
Indonesia for the Indonesians!
Ah, yes......and Veteran's Day
And the Marvia Cobra is even more attractive in a side view:
What's this, based on what, from where - for 1 point?:

Proportions seem wrong for a proper Cobra. Is it something like a Miata wearing a Cobra bodykit?

It's not a Miata.
It might well have been inspired by a Cobra but it's not a Cobra bodykit.

Suzuki-based Marvia from Indonesia?

Suzuki-based Marvia from Indonesia?
Indonesia is the right place!
I had to look up the Marvia as I didn't know it, and whilst I didn't have that name it does look a lot like one and I would say it probably is a Marvia body (which means the earlier answer I gave about it not being a Cobra kit copy would be wrong..).
This one is not Suzuki-based though, but since you've got so far I'll lock it for you to see if you can find the correct base.
Just googling Marvia Cobra:

The info I had was a bit limited; the car was For Sale in Jakarta.
It was described as a "Holden Torana Roadster" so I suppose that could include a home-built or a kit-car..
1 more point for you and well done!
Below is the un-modified puzzle picture.
Oh, and I've merged it too since we've had the Marvia before.

Sorry to further lead this thread astray for the sake of old business but I HAD to acknowledge Sir Otto's invoking of the Firesign Theater. Thought about them the other day but figured it was just errant brain cells misfiring -- it's a comfort to know I'm not alone ;D

Show off
Here's a couple of screenshots from the video of this car:
I think it should be a Marvia (not a Mariva) and there's the Cobra badge.
