It's from 1910, but that's all I know.

This date sounds quite reasonable - however I need some more facts of course... ;)
Title: Re: grob mystery 2014.12.07 (02), UK, ca. 1910

I have no proof, as yet, but, I think this might be a 1909 Jackson 699 cc - single cylinder tri-car, by Reynold-Jackson & Co. Ltd. of Notting Hill, London.  Perhaps this info. will allow another AutoPuzzler to locate a photo.

I also was not able to find a photo :(

However as soon as a proof photo might unearth, this point will be yours...

Spence is probably right. My source said that the car was built for bad roads, and the 1910 Reynold-Jackson was described back then as "The three-wheeled automobile illustrated is one of an order of 50 for exportation to Costa Rica, and built by Messrs. Reynold Jackson at Notting Hill Gate, London, W". Unfortunately I don't know the picture that came with that description.
Does anybody happen to own either "Car: A Journal of Travel by Land, Sea and Air", No. 413 from May 4, 1910 or the "Veteran & Vintage Magazine" where it is covered in the "Sixty Years Ago" column?

This seems to be the missing link. The text doesn't mention its builder, but that it was built for Costa Rica which fits with the description of the 1910 Reynold-Jackson.

Thank you Oguerrerob.

This was the proof for 4popoid´s 1910 Reynold-Jackson guess.

This is a black hole puzzle, so I can warad two points - one for each of you.

I hope this is ok...

Please can I have the maker and the year.  And, unusually, what country was it intended for?

Not a flicker of interest from the Rookies - so it's up to the Experts.

The experts don't know either, so it's up to the pros.

1910 Jackson 3 wheeler, London.
50 intended for Costa Rica, but probably never made/delivered

Yes - I have it as "Reynolds-Jackson".

Robert Reynold Jackson was the full name of the owner of the company.

Wow!  That didn't take long!  You're spot on.  The only thing to add was the idea that a three wheeler would perform better on rough roads as the central  front, steering, wheel wouldn't get caught in the ruts.

Merged and thread title altered for clarity.

By the same manufacturer:

Oh dear!  I've done it again!  Believe me I did check for "Jackson" and nothing came up.
Memo to self:  Check by searching for all possible variations of a name

The thread title originally contained the name "Reynold-Jackson," so the hyphen was the issue.

The hyphen nearly always causes this problem  ;).
