The correct make and a reasonable year are sufficient for one point.

Very good - I have the pleasure to award your second point here at AutoPuzzlers!

1927 is too early - but close enough for the Rookie section in my eyes.

The puzzle photo shows the race car at the 1931 Shelsley Walsh hill climb race.
