a bit more info T26 Grand built-in 1948 for "the zipper King" M Fayolle a French tailor. (I guess back then Tailors could afford custom cars :)
This is why it sports a unique line of horizontal chrome strips above the center headlight, resembling a zipper.

The car was restored by Frantisek and Robert Kudela in the Czech Republic. They also have a very nice Horch.

Make, model, coachbuilder and year please.  Also, what was incorporated in the styling to reflect the occupation of the owner

1948 Talbot-Lago T26 Grand Sport by Figoni & Falaschi?

D-type

that's the correct car.
Now how about the supplementary question: What was incorporated in the styling to reflect the owner's occupation - or you could say his business?

Zippers . He was the manufacturer of zippers

hermanoto

...his name was Mr. Fayolle

My apologies SolanaBogon, I should have locked this for you.  Under the circumstances I am going to give you both a point.
The car was built for Monsieur Fayolle, a manufacturer of zips, hence the stylised zip above the radiator grille.

I didn't noticed the zipper part!
Thanks for the point anyway
