1 point for you!

Anything to do with Berkeley?

Seems to be British; by a known kit-car maker from the 1950s?

I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

Paul Jaray

Not Fairthorpe and it was active before 50s (and 40s) too.

That looks like a Ford Consul MkII front screen - is this an Allard Palm Beach prototype?

Paul Jaray

Not Allard's but a prototype it is.

Yes!
When was it shown? Based on what?

I don't think that's a Consul screen (see picture below).
As an anorak fact TVR Granturas and the later Vixens/Tuscans had a Consul Mk 2 windscreen...

Yes, I was wrong about the screen - it's more like an F-series Vauxhall Victor.

This puzzle car isn't as pretty as the earlier Twin-Cam. I can't find any photographs, but is it the car they built in 1965 with a Vauxhall engine?

Yes!
My source (a well known British Motor Magazine...) reports 1966, but that's the car!
Well done, 1 point for you!

Great! I've wanted to see a picture of this car for a long time

Georgano (not always correct) claims the company went into liquidation in April 1966. That's where I got 1965 from.

Never knew this had survived. Really great! Do you know the location?

Does anyone have images of this car's rear?

Perfect, thank you. I was keen to see what rear lights were used and your photo answers the question; Ford Escort MK 1, which must have been added later as the Escort was launched in 1968 after this HRG was made. Thanks again.
