RAM ?

RAM Cobra's chassis was designed by Adrian Reynard, maybe he was also involved with the puzzle car ?

GD?
Yes at last, it is Gardner Douglas (GD). So now locked to you for 48 hours for more information about this proposal.

Thanks Djetset.
I wasn't getting anywhere so contacted Gardner Douglas themselves to see what information they have.
This was their reply:

Hi Norman,

Not something we have knowledge of, maybe someone had sketched the design with that intention.

Kind regards,
Andy Burrows

If GD themselves don't know anything about it I'm not confident of my chances of finding anything, but I'll keep searching until my 48 hours are up...!
But is the answer out there on the interweb?!

Isn't that the ultimate puzzle, a car whose creator has never heard of ?

Djetset

Ha Ha, knowing what a resourceful chap you are Carnut, I had a feeling you might contact GD directly. I'm not surprised that no body there knew of this car, as I mentioned this design concept to them some time back, and they were blissfully unaware of it, as it was a proposal by an employee that left the firm many years ago.

As you still have 24 hours left of your lock, I will make this easier for you Carnut and just ask (guess) the proposed model name to complete the puzzle. The name's clue is in the car's design.

Thanks!
The plot thickens..

How about "Wedge"?
