Was the plane built by Auster/Beagle?
Thank you for reviving this one Majeko after being grounded for so long.  Sadly though it is not an aircraft built by Auster/Beagle.

Is the link between the aircraft and the Mini a person or a company?

Hmm, a tricky one to answer, as it is neither of these really.  Sorry I can't be more clear.

OK. So the link isn't the engine nor the designers of the Mini. Nor any company involved with the two. Not much left to work with. Do they have the same wheels?

Sorry, but this is a tough one I think!  They don't have a same wheels, but they do have a connection!  ;)

I had to search a long time for this one. But I found it: it's a Prospector Four, designed to carry a Mini inside the fuselage.

Wow! A result after four years. Well done!

I have a feeling that the Edgar Percival E.P.9/Lancashire Aircraft EP-9 Prospector was the predecessor of the Prospector Four.

Hey Hey!  Bravo Majeko, at last after 5 years, this one has finally landed.  Well done, and 2 very well deserved points to you.  :applause:

I am amazed this puzzle lasted for 5 years, as information about this aircraft, and its Mini connection, can be found on a number of websites and Mini books.  Basically the aircraft's passengers sat in the Mini, which was loaded into the Prospect through the opening rear end.

Well done again - and thanks for the extra photo Tom I, which saves me now having to post the same image.  I now have just 40 other Black Hole puzzles to be solved. Good luck!:D
