HWM with Cadillac or somesuch power

That's right, it's the HWM-Cadillac which was originally fitted with a 5.4 litre Cadillac V8.
It was imported into New Zealand in 1956 where the engine was promptly switched for a 7.7 litre Continental flat-6 aircraft engine, with which it was raced.  It was restored recently by Auto Restorations in Christchurch, who re-fitted a 331 cu in Cadillac V8.
The car has now been shipped back to England.

The Continental engine must have made for interesting handling. Nearly 8 litres of boxer engine would make for a nose-heavy low centre of gravity.
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia
