For one point, please identify this car, the model, the coachbuilder and the year.

Fiat 1400 by Farina on a chassis probably modified by Siata (1800 cc).

Correct! It´s a Siata 1400 Giardinetta. The coachbuilder is wrong. Locked!

I'm pretty sure those cars were all bodied by Farina (same style as the Daina and also other model marketed by Farina directly). However, I see on the side something that could look like a Monviso badge. Is it?

Why do you believe it is an 1800? Just my interest as I have a 1800 Berlinetta Coupe.

I'm not sure. Just it could be, as the car is basically a derivative of the Daina (that was a 1400 tuned up to 1800) and the same engine modification was also advertised for the Farina extended wheelbase limousine. It could be it was available also for the woody-wagon.

Thanks, as far as I know most Daina's were 1400, some were 1500 and even rarer is the 1800.
From my car the engine and gearbox, were scrapped in favour of an american powerplant. I do have an original Siata engine that needs a full rebuild, I intend to build it as an 1800. The rear axle has a different ratio in combination with larger wheels.

Not Monviso. A coachbuilder from Moncalieri.

Still locked.

Yes! Congrats  ;)

Very interesting to discover that one was made by Monterosa. I supposed the whole series was by Farina.

Any resemblance to a FX4 London Taxi is purely coincidental  ;)
