Title: SOLVED: Djetset 749 - 1958 GM Chevrolet Cadet XPO79 project
Post by: Djetset on September 30, 2015, 01:29:10 PM
What is this please for a point (year, make, model name, etc.)?  Oh, and yes it is a re-post, but from some time ago, and it will be good to try and breath some life into the Rookies section...

My attempt to re-ignite the Rookies was in vain, so up to the Experts...

Gosh, that was kick, and spot on, so the point goes to you for this sadly stillborn XPO79 project.

So much for me hoping this one might reach the Pro's!
Apparently when the car was first shown to the GM execs the President took one look at it, said "We don't build small cars" and walked out.
The car was never seen nor heard of again.  Or so the story goes...

Here's the link to the puzzle of the completed car:

Yup, so the story does indeed go.  Sums up GM really (as you know, I'm not GM's greatest fan!) :P

Something went wrong though so I'm reposting it here!
