It's called the 'John Densham Riley Special Nr.3' and was based on a 1935 Riley 9 IMP chassis and 1100cc IMP engine, bodywork by John Densham and Lewis Edmunds in 1948.

What is the name of this car, who built it and when?

It looks similar to a Jaguar XK, but appears to have advance/retard controls on the steering wheel. So is it an earlier car which has been rebodied?
