Aston Martin Bulldog?

Read the question again!  That's what it is, but the question asks what it's purporting to be here!

No.
Perhaps you don't know what 'purporting' means; it means it's pretending to be something else!

Could you be looking for "the fastest car in the world at 237 mph", or am I, too, confused?

Hmm. It purported to be the first of a "production" run of twenty-five cars. Only one was built.

No. What it's purporting to be is not an Aston Martin..

It was originally meant as a testing vehicle with the codename K9 (or DP K9) and according to Aston Martin it was built to show its technical know-how

No.  If you read the whole thread you will see that whilst this is of course a photo of the Aston Martin Bulldog it is purporting to be something else on a website somewhere!  A bit like my recent puzzle of the Zombi (which was of course a Maserati..)
