Osca powered De Tomaso barchetta -2 liters if I recall correctly- but rebodied in USA (all from memory, far from my files now, so please if it's not correct just unlock it...;-)

the original car should be around 1962, but no idea about the date for the body conversion

Yes, the original was built in 1962; I believe this is the same car as this one despite the apparent different engine size:

I don't know when the new body was fitted, or indeed why! Perhaps the original was destroyed...

Well done. I'm not sure it's the right thing to merge these as it looks so different?
