I have it as a VW-based car...not a kit but selfbuilt...its name should be written on a sticker...I'll find the ad back.
Registered in 1964. Nickname ' extreme machine'...i'll add more soon.
It was for sale on January in Florida, when I saw it tanks to Dzima. On one of the stickers in its back there's written 'Jon Karcey Racing' ...but I think they have nothing to do with it.

I think 'Extreme Machine' is just a description and is not meant to be its name.
In fact I can't see that is has a name, which is why I didn't ask for one!
The fact is it's a scratch-built car from 1964 powered by a 1779 cc VW engine with a 2 barrel Holley built by a restorer of vintage aircraft, so you get the point! It actually said on the site that it was influenced by Can-Am style cars, but did they exist as early as 1964? I'd have to check that..

The first Can-Am season was in 1966, so either this car is based on a 1964 car rather than being built then or it's not inspired by Can-Am cars as it claims to be!
