it was the allard j2 coupe,godfrey,( goff) imhof designed this coupe on a lengthened j2 chassis.

Yes indeed.
It's actually mentioned in most sources as an Abbott-bodied Allard but that seems to be incorrect.  I think Imhof was employed by Abbott but it's not an official factory job.
