Xebra Z Roadster, American Electric Sportscar.

American company: Renaissance Cars Inc was founded in 1991 by Bob Beaumont, the electric vehicles manufactured under the brand Tropica,closed down in 1996.
In 1996, the company were acquired by the newly created Zebra Motors, resume production of Tropica Roadster.Under the Zebra brand, called Zebra Z Roadster.
In 1999, Zebra Motors was reorganized and was renamed Xebra Motors.
In 2001, production ceased and the company Xebra ceased to exist.

Very good, yes.
I had this one as being a Zebra, so I'll stick to that name, and as you say it was a successor to the car by Renaissance Cars of Bob Beaumont.
