I have nothing else; just that leaflet I posted above.
The registration is a Halifax issue from 1980.
There have been so many Scorpions down the years and I have no idea if this is connected with any of them; I doubt whether it is.
The nearest in terms of era is probably the Scorpion Sovereign, a Chris Humberstone car which has been puzzled here before, but I'm sure it's not connected; it was from about 14 years earlier and wasn't made in Dewsbury!

Thank you. I already checked the Scorpions in my index plus the Rangers and the PBs..nothing to match :/

When cars like this are constructed from a donor vehicle then usually they are allocated the original donor car's registration; in that case
it could have been made later than 1980.  It's only if it was built from new parts in 1980 that it would have been given a 1980 registration.
