According to La Manovella this is an Alfa RL torpedo sport by Societá Lavezzari from around 1924

when you said "Milan" it instantly rang a bell. I recalled that I spent some time with that issue of La Manovella listing all coachbuilders in Milan. I am sure other members have that magazine, I was just lucky no one grabbed it before me :)

Really? According to Museo dell´automobile "This unique bodywork was made in 1926 by Wilkinson of Long Island, New York, for a well-to-do American Alfa enthusiast." I remember the badge.
