1948 Minicar, made in CS. I don't know if it had a specific model name. It was built by a group of enthusiasts directed by Rudolf Vykoukal, in Prague. It won the first price in a minicar contest. It had 300 cc 2-cylinder 2-stroke engine and front wheel drive...

this is the minicar 300 from 1948,it was ,it was from Czechoslovakia. The little car had front-wheel drive and used a single cylinder engine around 10hp.I believe the designer was Rudolf Vykoukal.and it also had independent suspension.

That's it, yes, powered by a 308 cc single-cylinder engine.
I knew it was a repost but from pre-historic times so bearing in mind none of our current Experts (or very few anyway) were around then I though it was time for a re-run...

Engine built Mr. Vykoukal. It was actually half of a two-roller Aero Minor.

No, I believe that's a Simca 8 but I can't remember which coachbuilder built it.
I think I've got the image and builder on my other computer; I'll have a look tomorrow.

I do have the image but it's only captioned as "Simca 8 Cabriolet Special 1950" so I don't know who the coachbuilder was.

The same for me. Judging from the shape of the grille, I thought that it could be built by ACB, as a Peugeot 202 was rather similar, but that's all. The Minicar was another possibility, but the license plate is more French than Czech.  Thanks anyway !  :D
