Easy Rookie point - what's this, from when - for 1 point?:

Remember - solving puzzles using 'Google Search by Image' is BANNED on AutoPuzzles!

Am I right in thinking that those are Austin Healey Sprite wheels? If so, is this a glassfibre special based on an AH Sprite?

They do look like them but I believe they aren't, no; it might be the hub-caps that help to make them look like a Sprite's, plus of course the holes.
It's a glassfibre special but no AH bits that I'm aware of.

It's from the mid-fifties, but not from Italy...

Bit too easy for the Pro's really but the Experts didn't get it so...  up it goes.

I'm not sure what you're looking for, but it's a Rochdale MkVI based on Ford chassis and running gear and built in 1956

Yes it's a Rochdale Mk6.
I did start out saying it was an easy Rookie point but neither the Rookies (are there any?) nor the Experts wanted it..
However, whilst it does have an 1172 cc Ford sidevalve engine the puzzle car doesn't sit on a Ford chassis.
Locked for you to dig into!  You should be able to go straight to the answer..

ah, it seems to be a Buckler Mk5 chassis.

Where are the Rookies these days? Does any puzzle get solved at that level any more, even the 'easy' stuff like this?

Indeed.
The Rookies board seems to be a bit redundant at the moment!
