I was at my daughter's new home all morning discovering that 100-year old houses have plaster which falls to pieces when you drill walls.  She has purchased a VERY heavy mirror for above the fireplace, and it'll need securing with something pretty hefty before I'm happy. And IKEA reckon there's nothing wrong with the base of a storage unit which is patently 2cm longer than the space which it should occupy. Bad morning gets worse...........
