Yes, so let's give you a lock until your next reply to see if you can find it exactly.

Please unlock as I wasn't able to find that car.

Actually, I think I just found some new info on that car.

Apparently it's a Simca Abarth 1450 Spider Sport from 1962. It raced in the 1000 kilometers of Paris on the Monthléry racetrack.

That's actually a bit different from what I have it as, though I'm not saying I'm right and you're wrong!  It's the usual Internet confusion so I'll have to check out the right answer and come back!

I've looked into this and I've found several Simca Abarth pictures with similar (and different...) descriptions to what you have said.
But I've also found quite a few with the car as what I have it as.
I can only conclude that they used very similar bodywork for both Fiat and Simca Abarths of the period; as yet I'm not convinced which car my puzzle photo is of, although it was For Sale at a well-known and respected classic car dealer, which is where I got the picture and description from.  I wouldn't expect them to be describing it as the wrong car..

I'll have to check in my Abarth books when I'm home this evening but in the meantime this is locked for you; maybe you can come up with the description I have too, then you've covered all the angles?

I'm fairly sure it's a Fiat Abarth rather than a Simca Abarth but let's see if I can resolve it tonight.

Here's an Abarth Simca 1300, though it might have a 1450 cc engine..:

I've checked further into this.
It's not an Abarth Simca but it is a Fiat Abarth.
Locked for you to dig into further.

Is it the Abarth 1000 SP that ran at 1969 Le Mans 24 hours?
