Built by Brian Ford, hot-rod builder like is father, was built around a Mistral (rotten) body. Power cames from a Toyota Supra.
There's all the story in Patrick Harlow's excellent book, page 120.

That says it all really, but I must say I was very surprised to find this car hadn't been posted before.
All I would add is that Ford built it in Christchurch, New Zealand.
