Built for guys with hairy chests!
No Jaguar bits though...
Based on a cobra?
Based on a Corvette?
The source doesn't say it's based on anything so I assumed it was bespoke, but that isn't necessarily so of course...
If it is based on another car then I don't know what it is, though it does of course have a proprietary engine.

Hi! It's Ken Kumiega's Avant Garde KX-1. it uses 420hp V8 engine.
That is indeed the car so it's a point for Arunas.
Bad luck oko94 - the engine is indeed a 383 cu in small-block Chrysler V8.
There is a fair chance, the engine is actually a Chevrolet. The Avant-Garde web site refers to the engine as a "383 Stroker", a phrase frequently used to describe a long-stroke small block Chevy.
Do you have a source of information about this car, which specifically mentions the engine being a Chrysler? We could know for sure by seeing a picture of the engine, but such an image does not seem to exist.
Good point.
The only source was Ken Kumiega's website with the details of the car - except whose engine it was!
I Googled 383 cu in engines to narrow it down and it seemed most likely to be a small-block Chrysler..
I've emailed Ken now to ask if it was a Chrysler or (more likely) a Chevy.
Hopefully we'll get a reply soon.
Scan from brochure...
You're absolutely right sixtee5cuda; Ken Kumiega has responded as follows:

This is an original concept car. It's call the KX-1. Not a modified production car. It was designed 35 years ago as a road course race car reflecting the Le Mans and Grand Prix vintage course cars. It laid dormant for years. Finally completed in 2007. The power plant is a 350 Chevy stoker motor, hence the 383!
