What is this exactly for 1 point?
Experts?
Do the Pro's know?
This should be the 1953 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS Bucci Speciale.
I've seen this picture a thousand of times, but....
Is it from South America?

That's the car.
Info from the Web:
This unique Alfa Romeo 2500S features a two-seater sports body, works by Nestor Salerno in Argentina, and was originally fitted to Clemar Bucci's 1944 Alfa Romeo 12C. In 1989 the Bucci Special was purchased by a UK enthusiast. Issued with FIA papers, it also underwent a mechanical restoration at Arnie Johnson's Silverstone Workshop in the 1990′s before being repainted. If you look closely at the body shape, you can see many classical mid-'50s body styles from cars such as the Aston Martin DB3S, Ferrari's Mondial/Testa Rossa/Monza and Disco Volante. The car was purchased by Bangalore businessman Vijay Mallya in 1998 and is currently inĀ his extensive collection.
Who made this car and what engine it uses?
Experts?
Xmas gift for pros.
It's not a gift - I don't know what it is! It looks so much like a Maserati 200S from that angle, but obviously it isn't one of those.
Is it Australian?
Bucci's Alfa Romeo 4500 Special
I see that these days it's fitted with an Alfa 2500cc engine. When Clemar Bucci built it , he fitted the engine from the ex-works Alfa Romeo 12C37 which he had raced in the 1953 Buenos Aires GP. It is incorrectly reported that this was the Argentine GP, which was of course for Formula 2 cars that year - isn't the internet wonderful?
So is this the same car as the one in this thread or not?:

Here's a rear view of that car and it seems remarkably similar; the only difference I can spot is the faired-in head rest which as been added:
I'm 95% sure it's the same car. When it was restored it had the less powerful engine fitted and the headrest added. Having said that, I can only tell you what it says on the internet!
Should this puzzle be merged?
Opinions please!
I think they should be merged.
