For one point, please tell me who designed this car, and what the base car was supposed to be.

It was a 1952 design by John Bond, featured in the Road & Track series ,,Sports Car Design" for a selfbuilt sports car based on a Ford Anglia.

It looks a neat little design, although as far as I know nothing more was done with it.
