I think Del Coates was at Michigan University Notre Dame with Virgil Exner Jr. and the two were friends. It appears to me that Mr Coates' Golden Hawk proposal paid more than a smidgen of homage to Exner Snr's designs... ;) ;)

I think the heading should be Studebaker, not Stuedebaker.
