I think the constructors' names were Jean Terrigi and Pierre Flahaut. The engine is a BMW one. The car has seemingly been later rebuilt into much more ordinary four-wheeler form.

Correct, well done!
The only info I have was that it was by Pierre Flahaut of Casablanca and raced in the 500-3 series

This car has been a previous AP subject. I left it here for the Experts to help themselves to a point, but if it's not solved in the next 24 hours I will delete the puzzle.

All questions will be answered if I am online.

It doesn't matter Bertrand. You get a point because you solved the puzzle.

Could an editor please trace the original puzzle and merge?
