1901 Marconi mobile radio transmitter.  Marconi mounted a radio transmitter (for data. not voice, communication) in a steam powered Thornycroft truck. Fortunately the antenna could be lowered when the truck was in motion.

I wasn't paying attention when this went to the Pros.
I knew what it was, and I think I found it somewhere that identified one of the men as Guglielmo Marconi.
Can't find it again of course.
