Same car, 2 different solutions.
You can tell me what is it for 1 point...
...and if you find out which company used this car in his official papers to present a future model, you'll get another point.
Now we have cool puzzle! ;)
Is it made by European company?
Nope.
Proposal for an IndyCar single seater ?
So far so good...
Proposal made by a company specialised in designing/building racing cars ?
Remember there are 2 points here.
One for the real id of this car and one for the 'fake' one.
Not for a racing car company.
A big name asked 'someone' to design it.
Oh right. So as a Pro I can only guess the fake identity ...
I wrote that rule because I thougt it was too easy...since I was wrong, now, both points open to all!
Now that's better :D
Was the "big name" an engine supplier for IndyCar ?
Not only...also a big car company.
Chevrolet ?
Not Chevy.
American company ?
The company that commissioned the design is not American.
Toyota ?
Nope, but much closer.
Then Honda ?
I've read that Honda and the Indy Racing League have sponsored design competitions at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Was this car designed during such an event ?
Edit : I think I have found something indeed (see attached picture). Design by Gairy Smith made in 1993 at Art Center College.
1st point is gone...now the hardest part...which company put this car in his papers claiming it would be their racing model? 1st clue, not a racing car maker.
Nice ! I guess I'll get my point when the puzzle is solved entirely ?
For the second part : was the company who claimed it would be their racing model a small American make active in the nineties ?
It won't take much...it's a pure guessing game now.
There is not the slightest clue about it anywhere but in those papers!
Company is probably still active (it was in 2010), not American.
European company specialised in sports cars ?
Not European. Actually their last model was released in 2007-2008.
We had at least 2 of their 3 models.
It's not From USA, Europe or Asia but it has a stong, very stong connection with a very famous brand.
Lamborghini from Mexico ?

Lamborghini from Mexico ?
:o More or less...They were based not in Mexico (but I always thought they were!) but in Argentina, it seems.
What is the full name of the company? How were they going to call this car?
Locked for you.
The company was named Automoviles Lamborghini Latinoamerica S.A. de C.V.
Was the car named after a god, like Zeus ?
Not after a god.
In my index I have 2 models with that name.
A french Gt and an Italian ATV.
Anaconda Indy !
:applause: :applause:
2 points for you!
They should get a reward for their fantasy.
So, let me get this straight, the guy from lambo latinoamerica took that picture and claimed to be his on development...add that to making the ugliest lambos ever!
Exactly. I have no evidence but I wouldn't be surprised if the other Anaconda featured in that document was also a student's project.
The Anaconda picture belongs to the Swedish Johan Olfsson, Snowboard designer.
Here you are the origin of pic #1 and 3, Zagato's proposals for a LM00# replacement.
Pic #2 is the one in Oguerrerob's post and there are no doubts about the last pic.
..and finally, the page where they claim it's their design!
