Italian body and chassis ?

This puzzle has been promoted to the Pros immediately, which suggests it isn't easy.  But it looks awfully like a Stanguellini 1100S.

But it has indicators fitted. Is this a recreation/replica of a 1950s etceterini?
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

Paul Jaray

Not Maserati or Lancia bits.

oko94

Alfa Romeo underpinnings ?

oko94

Ferrari underpinnings ?

Paul Jaray

Not Ferrari.
We estabilished the car has italian body & chassis.
To avoid misleadings, please specify when you are guessing at the body, the chassis or the engine.
So far none of the names are good for any bit of it ;)

An Italian special without any Fiat, Alfa or Lancia bit ? Now I understand why it went straight to the pros !

Is it powered by a motorcycle engine ?

Paul Jaray

Not BMW or motorcycle engine.

I completely misread the clues. I thought the whole car was Italian.
