I actually meant 'did Bizzarrini style it?', as there are cues in the general style and on the side window shapes to suggest this. Of course, now that he has been ruled out, that was a mistaken idea. :D
I just have the name of the coachbuilder, not of a designer.
up again
One of the many Alfas (a 1900?) built by Colli of Milan in the early '50's ('52-'53)?
Yes, an Alfa Romeo 1900 by Colli.
One more point for you.
Now I know where the inspiration for the Effeffe Berlinetta came from.
I tried hard to find it but without success, and Effeffe's website makes no acknowledgement of the design they cribbed whatsoever!

Indeed!

Be careful with this identification... I'm almost sure this is a quite recent "replica"... some kind of evocative project without a real historic background... like the ATL
If you have real proof that this is original (like period pictures...) it's great... but I don't think so...
Indeed the designer of the Effe Effe has not invented anything... ::)
The car in Wendax's puzzle was For Sale in Belgium recently, accompanied by the following description (Google translated!):

Below is the much better-known Alfa 1900 Colli; perhaps this is the original car that provided the inspiration for the car in Wendax's puzzle?

I just have the seller's description. As the seller has other cars in stock that are described as replicas or recreations, and this one wasn't, I decided to trust him.

The Luzzago's car is not a Colli! According to them it was built, with 1900 mechanicals and engine on a 50s tubular chassis (but they don't say it's from an Alfa), between 70s and 80s... it's design it's very similar to ATL one from early 70s, maybe it's an ATL too...
They are all replicas, but it's important to say that I've never seen any proof that a similar car has never esisted in the '50s or early '60s...
Unluckly there is plenty of people ready to cheat to sell to incautious buyers...
this is the ATL...
A can of worms has been opened!
The seller Pista Fiorano only advertises on second hand websites AFAIK, makes you wonder.....He also sells a Ferrari 196 S Dino reconstruction based on a Fiat Dino Spyder chassis....
Is this car not perhaps a one-off of Piero Drogo design and manufacture, or do we know for certain it is definitely by Colli? ??? Whatever it is, it's stunning!
