the Fargier
Born in Clermont-Ferrand, Albert Fargier, employed fitter railway (whose sister works at Michelin) will, from 1949 to 1955, use evenings and entertainment to build this unique piece. In a dead end in a hut after Albert Fargier tinker ... The room is so small that the car will be assembled on the balcony of the house, located right next door! On a "Fargier" chassis, with three wheels of steel tube is installed AMC 175 cc four-stroke engine, also built in Clermont-Ferrand. All this together will be covered with an elegant body riveted duralumin, shaped by hand and mallet, technical aviation. Homemade also nice dashboard and seat in green moleskin, all protected from the weather by a lovely roof translucent vinyl.
