I'm not sure about the mechanical base of this bus.

On another usually reliable site, it is identified as a Citroen but no type was given.
It might be a Type 29.

Here is another photo, the puzzle bus's cousin perhaps.  Look at the wheels.
I found this a while ago and forgot it and managed to find it again today.
