It's powered by 2 Suburu Tribeca flat 6's connected at the crankshaft.

Yes, you've found the car. As you say, two Subaru 3-litre flat-six engines (water cooled) which would have been close to the actual car's spec. It's an astonishing attempt for someone building this in their own garage. It was for sale "unfinished" - maybe he ran out of money or stamina.
