Yes, the puzzle car is based on a 1931 Mercedes-Benz 8/38 PS Typ Stuttgart 200 (W02).
Unfortunately, that won't help you much to find the name of it.  :(

A big hint: the name consists of two five-letter words, of which the first one is probably the builder's Christian name, the second word is quite generic.

The car was built in 1999/2000 by Fritz Koch from Zarpen. The engine was taken from a 280 SE (W108).
