You've got the right car and year (1978), but I also need to know who was responsible for the bodywork. Locked for you
Dallara?
Not Dallara, less known
Cant find any online references to the body design on this car.
Was the concern responsible from the Netherlands?
I have checked myself on the web if the constructor of the body can be find, but it is quite difficult.. So I will award you the point for finding the right car and year and leave it open for the bodywork to gain an extra point.
Probably the most well known racing car body design and construction company at the time this car was built was Specialised Mouldings of Huntingdon in the UK, but I have never seen any written mention of KSR in connection with their work.
The wing designs on this car look very similar to the delta wing Lamborghini used on the Countach 5000S which is what made me think of Dallara.
Not Huntington, but it's from Europe
Luigi Colani ?
Not Colani, less known. In fact, I had never heard the name before but that doesn't say much...
Does this person have an aerospace background?
I have no idea, I only have his name and where he's from
So the constructor isn't from Holland?
No not from Holland, but Europe it is.
England?
Not England, other direction
Germany?
Yep
Ekkehard Zimmermann?
Not him
is it Gerard Sollmann
Not Sollmann
Didn't realize it was still out there, up a level to find the designer
Black hole
An FF2000 site provided the following info and photo with revised nose design. Dutch news clippings are available as well if there's interest:
KSR - Kitsz Solleveld Racing
Ruud Das is the engineer (designer)
Hans Kitsz (driver and construction)
Solleveld (construction)
Yes, Ruud (or Rudolf) Das was the name I was looking for, well-done, point for you.
