You've partly answered the questions, and I saw it claimed to have an 'anon' engine!
So I still need to know the car's base, when it was built, and what the engine really is (an anagram of Anon!)
Locked for you.

it appears to be a street legal micro jeep custom body mini convertible, was built in 1981. I see the engine name mistake it was Onan, not anon?

Yes, built in 1981 and the engine is an Onan twin.
But what floorpan was it based on?

We're probably looking at the same site.
Looking at it again maybe it's not the floorpan but there are proprietary parts in it, like the suspension and other bits and pieces.
Tell me what that's from and I'll give you the point.

I did see a couple sites where I can,t seem to get on, that's probably the place that holds the information I need.but the site Im on now does mention American upright styling, automatic transmission and of course the onan engine,I,ll keep trying though.

I think we'll call this one solved now as you have found the right car.
Although a 'Mini Jeep' it's only 2-wheel drive and according to my information it has VW suspension and steering column, and maybe a few other bits as well.  It was For Sale in Ohio.
1 point for you.
