If it's not too late, I have a possible alternative for #7, the Husqvarna project, cca 1936, solved in 2013.

Not too late - I'll leave the puzzle up until all the points are extracted.

This guess, however, is incorrect.

I'm running out of ideas for #7, but this keeps cropping up in the searches I have tried. So how about the Sixten Sason sketch, 1937, solved in 2013?

Well, after three days I'm guessing that the last attempt was a dud, so if it's OK, I'll have one more attempt at #7, then I'll give up.

So how about #7, Facel Vega Le Mans Project, solved in 2013?

OK - new clues before next weekend is over - my pledge!

#72
Only one r(#7) remains unsolved.

The first clue was "This 'car', never built, was vaporware before that term was coined".

The second clue was "Though the story of this car is a sketchy one, our soon-to-be-most-prolific poster was able to fill us in"

From these clues, one could presume:

* The car was never built.
* The puzzle pic was a drawing

An adjustment to one clue - our most prolific points accumulator is now also the most prolific poster, do the AP member who posted the puzzle for #7 is now our third most prolific poster, but is less than 300 posts away from taking the #2 spot.

The proposed, but never-built car was based on mechanicals from one country, and was to feature clothes from another.
