A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

Menopause / climacteric ?

Oguerrerob

Djetset

Not quite the menopause, etc., but along the right lines.  I'll try and make it easier by adding that only women have this, and usually men don't really like it!
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

Is it something that only women of a certain age (say over 40) have ?

It's something only women have from a certain age, but usually younger and older than 40.

Pregnancy ?
Ha Ha. No not that, although the first letter (of three) is a 'P'..  Locked to you one more time.

PMS (Premenstrual syndrome) ?
Oh, soooo close, just on letter out.  Locked to you, before I then give the second clue to the make of this car.

PMT (premenstrual tension) ?
Yes, the model name is PMT.  I'll explain why when this one is fully solved.  Now locked to you to find the marque name of its maker, with a clue to follow later.

As you said the car is no longer online, I don't really know what to do with that lock apart from wild guessing.

So, is the manufacturer named Woodward ?

Now bring on the clue  ;D

Djetset

Oh, sorry Oko94, I forgot to respond to this one before I went traveling for a couple of weeks!

So, time for another clue.  The make of this car shares its name with the make of a small cyclecar manufacturer launched in 1913.  Happy searching  :)

BPD ?
Spot on, well done!  I thought it was a good clue  ;)  Another two points to you for fully resolving this long-standing puzzle, which is the BPD PMT (with PMT standing for Pullen's Motor Transport), first launched in 2010, and in theory still available today.
